Hi!

My name is Florent. I'm a french man who wants to introduce you to France and kill stereotypes on this country 🙂

France is a wonderful country, but (let's be honest) it can be cryptic to non-french people!

My goal is to help non-French people (you?) discover the “hexagon” beyond the postcard for tourists.

With this blog, I want to be your guide. I want to make you experience and fall in love with the French way of life. You will become an insider! 😉

I was born and grew up in the South-West of France, but after moving around, I’ve settled in the North-Est part (Alsace) with my family of 2 kids.

My education and jobs have brought me in close contact to people from all over the world. I love discovering about other countries and cultures. I love discussing with people from another place, it’s so enriching!

I am passionate about cooking and good food (and good wine of course). As a kid, I wanted to be a cook. But I ended up cooking experiments in... a lab! (I became a scientist).

I like sport too (the list is too long).

And I like challenges. When I turned 40, I decided to learn to play music (guitar).

This blog is another challenge to myself.
